WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR VISA APPLICATION INTERVIEW
OUR ORLANDO IMMIGRATION LAWYER GUIDES YOU THROUGH IT
When applying for an immigration visa, there is a step in the process that will require you to attend an application interview. After you have paid the necessary fees with your application, the National Visa Center will review your case and schedule an appointment for you with the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. Our Orlando immigration lawyers at the Fisher Legal Group can help prepare you for this interview, ensuring you have everything you need to successfully pass.
For more information on applying for an immigration visa, read about it on the U.S. Visas website.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY INTERVIEW?
As an applicant, you are responsible for bringing all necessary documentation to your interview, like original documents and photocopies. If you forget to bring everything with you, it could result in a denied visa.
You must bring the following with you:
- Appointment letter
- Two identical photographs of yourself
- Sealed medical exam results
- Original and supporting documents
- English translations of the documents (if necessary)
- Visa fees if you have not paid them to the NVC yet
You will also need to bring your family members that are affected by the immigration, including your spouse and any unmarried children immigrating with you. If the other members are applying for a visa as well, you will need to bring all of their documentation to the interview.
